This mild request, as benign and painless as it may seem tends to scare the hell out of some people. Perhaps it is the idea that meditation involves discipline, structure and ritual that cause people to cringe internally; the fear of actual ‘work’ being involved with working on ones sense of self and well-being is often enough to turn people off. What if we told you that finding peace within was as simple as taking a few minutes out of your day to desire and feel it???
